ASIAN GAMES SPORTS COMPLEX AND LEISURE CENTRE.

PROJECT DESCRIPTION AND PROBLEM STATEMENT

The Asian Games (Asiad) is a multi-sport event of the modern era held every four years among athletes from all over Asia. Participants include athletes from the Asian continent and the event is usually held in late summer to early fall. Based on a model of the Olympic Games, the Asian Games are overseen by the Olympic Council of Asia under the supervision of the International Olympic Committee (IOC) and are described as the second largest multi-sport event after the Olympic Games. Up till now nine nations have hosted the Asian Games, 46 nations have participated in the Games. The current version of the Asian Games includes over 40 sports. In Pakistan there is a need to develop a sports complex that fulfills the requirements of Asian games so that these Asian Games celebrate cooperation and unity despite differences. Athletes from a wide variety of nations are able to travel, meet new people, and bring back lessons about Pakistan to their home nations. So that the Asian Games forge unity and friendship between their member nations by joining athletes, trainers, and observers together and so the economy as well as fame of Pakistan will increase.

SCOPE

This Asian Games sports complex covers the following games.

 Swimming, wrestling, cycling, athletics, badminton, baseball, basketball, hockey, judo, squash and table tennis.

TOURIST RESORT VILLAGE

PROJECT DESCRIPTION AND PROBLEM STATEMENT

A resort is a place used for relaxation or recreation, attracting visitors for holidays or vacations. Resorts are places, towns or sometimes commercial establishment operated by a single company. Towns which are resorts or where tourism or vacationing is a major part of the local activity — are sometimes called resort village.

Travel has always a certain fascination for the people of old, man has been living the security of home to seek for adventures, to experience people in other lands and to experience nature in its different colors. Tourists’ attraction in Pakistan is mainly due to its beauty, its valleys, deserts, lakes, forests, flora and fauna.

The acute shortage of tourist facility in Pakistan has always been felt. The reduction in traveling time has made distances shorter and the tourist industry has become an important contribution towards national income. Therefore special efforts are needed to improve this sector. The extensive urbanization and changing social values have created tension and physiological problems; as such people needed relaxation away from the organized routine life of the urban areas. I want to design a resort between murree and Islamabad.  A self-contained commercial establishment which attempts to provide for most of a vacationer's wants while remaining on the premises, such as food, drink, lodging, sports, entertainment, and shopping. So that it fulfills the need of tourists as well as people of that area. It will provide people a place to see the beauty of nature.

SCOPE

Ø A resort village which is environment friendly and minimizes the negative impacts on the natural landscape.

Ø Accommodation for tourists.

Ø Restaurants for tourists.

Ø Indoor game rooms.

AUTOMOBILE SHOWROOM AND THE MOTODROME.

PROJECT DESCRIPTION

A showroom is a large space used to display products for sale. It is a retail store of a company in which the products are sale only created by their brand or company.

Motodrome is a rounded course or track for automobile and motorcycle races. Motordrome is a well established automotive business.
