Introduction
A natural history museum provides an opportunity to observe experience and enjoy the nature. it provide a wide range of experiences of nature and educates students, researchers as well as common public.Exhibits,surrounding natural environment and its elements, and the programs of the museum motivate the public to explore and fulfill the quest to find the true behind the existence and evaluation of life on earth. In short natural history museums are equally good for the researchers as well as common public due to its flexible approach for exploring the various aspects and components of the nature through research, indoor and outdoor displays, different tours and educational programs offered to the visitors.
Natural history is a broad topic which includes the sciences of humans, zoology, botony and earth sciences. Every aspect has its own importance while humans are the major component of the nature and their evolution and progress is also important in natural history.

Natural history museum is suggested in Lahore which includes the comprehensive natural history of humans which is exploring the different aspects related to human progress, human discoveries and different human civilizations and the relationship of human’s progress and the concept of dynamism. This project is aimed to provide public education and entertainment as well as the museum itself is a source of attraction towards researchers and public.
Project brief
Natural history museum which is related to history of humans is a demonstration of nature, man and human culture function. Its interpretation of present environment in the light of past.
It includes the history of humans and explains how the life evaluates in the light of modern science and Islamic perspective both. It includes the human history of different continents which explains that how humans go through the different ages of progress while living in different continents and how they became civilized. At the same time museum also includes the relationship of humans and the discoveries of man in nature. So in short the museum galleries include the historical overview of the man in nature, different ages and different human civilizations.
Objectives of design
· Museum form is based on the concept of dynamism along with the progress of human civilizations and its history
· The whole concept of design is moving around two major things which is the human natural history and the concept of dynamism.
· Since this museum is based on the history of humans so the form of the building and the theme of different galleries are based on the progress and discoveries of humans with time. So the architecture of the museum building is not specifically of one typology but it’s a gradual mix of different eras and the dynamism.
· The concept also follows the different trends of architecture in different civilizations of humans.so the architecture of the building will also follow the main concept which is human progress through the streets of past and the dynamism in human history.
· Another major feature of the design is the play of light in different sections of museum.
· In the interior of the building there is play of light depending upon the type of gallery and the type of exhibits.
· Objective of design is to achieve spacious and lighted spaces for the galleries and the interior of the museum building.
· The architecture of the building and its surroundings should be environment friendly.
· The whole complex includes maximum green areas, and the comfort of the visitors.
Scope of the project
The museum includes the basic facililities and the supportive facilities.
It enhances and support public understanding about human evolution.
The research facilities in museum attract many scholars, researches and students to conduct their research work which will help to explore the nature and natural environment in meaningful way.
It supports different seminars and international conferences.
Site for the project
Lahore is one of the major city of Pakistan and people come here to visit this city therefore site selected for this project is located in Lahore.
2-Children interactive learning complex
Introduction
The foundation of any nation is future generation and if it is perfect then it will built a perfect nation. Research has shown that regular physical activity along with the mental education will enhance the quality of life. So a children complex is a place where children can find maximum pleasure-learn, educate themselves and become physically and mentally fit.

The basic objective of the project is to design a place for lower middle class children where they can find maximum pleasure, learn educate themselves and become physically and mentally fit.
In a city like Lahore, people have busy life. Parents are social and busy in their jobs as they don’t have so much time to spend with their children so there should be place where they can leave their children to learn, play and entertain themselves in a healthy natural environment.
Project brief
This complex is basically a platform for the children between 2-16 years of age, where they can interact with their age fellows, learn play and create their own world.
The concept of the project is to provide education with entertainment. This project basically consist of children complex which includes the children school,boarding,health facilities, playing areas, children library, special lounges and maximum green areas.
Objectives
· The project focuses on the designing of interactive learning spaces which promoting and encouraging physical activity and promoting children to explore their creative sense.
· The basic concept of the complex is based on the prototype architecture which is following the concepts of playing blocks of children.
· It also includes the concept of environmental psychology,
· The basic object is to design such a spaces which are appealing as well as interactive for the children and following the psychology of different age groups.
· Since this children complex will be designed for the lower middle class so the important aspect is the study of deprived psychology of children and about needs of children.
· Another major objective is the designs of proper spaces for the different age groups.it include the division of spaces according to age groups:
Infants, Toddlers, Young preschool and older preschool,teenagers
· Spaces design should be such that provide children to explore their imaginations and ideas.
Scope of the project
It fulfills all the needs of healthy environment for the children.
It will help to improve and enhance the creative abilities of students.
The social environment will help the children to know how to live in groups.
Creative and healthy environment produce healthy minds which produces the successful nations.

The site selected for the project is located in Lahore since Lahore is the city of institutions so people came here from all over the world.
3-Digital library
Introduction
Library is an important institution of knowledge and it plays important role for students, scholars, researchers and public.
Project statement
Lahore is the institutional city and it has many libraries but with the progress of modern world, now there should be digital library which includes the internet technology to research papers and books worldwide through online interaction.

The project basically involves the digital library along with online books and includes different books of different subjects. It includes the lecture theatres, audiovisual rooms, special computer cabins, green areas and open spaces which make the environment more interactive.
The different sections of library contains
Circulation Section, Reference and Readers' Advisory Service, Display of Books / Exhibitions, Theses and Text Books Section, Acquisition Section, Periodicals Section, Technical Section, Computer Section, Binding Section,
Along with every section of books there is computer section where one can read materials.

This digital library will support to interact internationally and it facilitates its users more.
Online interaction of different literature reviews will enhance the exchange of knowledge
